Detailed images from my 2018 "Second Flight- Butterfly Paintings" series featuring real, preserved butterflies placed in multi-media dreamscapes. My hope that these works give the butterflies a permanent "Second Flight" and that their beautiful wings stir our hearts and imaginations. (All butterflies came from eco farms and lived out their full life-span.)
