What kinds of base do you paint on? Some are painted on canvases but others are painted on panes of glass that I have purchased, found or been given.
What do you mean paintings change and age over time? Paintings are made with real flowers so overtime these flowers will continue to age, evolving the colors and overall look of the piece.
